This is Alto Habana’s third palomino foal by Mas Yaco (Yogurt), our wonderful cremello Stallion.
The combination of Habana’s pedigree with strong influence of Cardenas breeding lines plus Mas Yaco's pedigree produces strong tall foals of good quality.
Habana is a gentle, quiet mare, everyone’s friend, considerate and kind; all of these qualities she passes onto her offspring. Her action is fabulous: a long straight stride with some knee action, so desirable for dressage.
Mas Yaco, his sire, has that ‘Important look’ about him. He is impressive, kind, full of fun, the sort that always catches your eye in a crowd. His action is also straight and long. He’s a wonderful character.
Freyanoso has inherited many of these qualities. Conformation is very correct; his movement is straight and long but with some knee action, which is so desirable in this breed. He is developing into a well-balanced horse very suitable for dressage and ridden showing
His palomino colour is developing nicely and he will probably have that glorious golden colour with a white mane and tail.
He has been Microchipped, Registered in Spain with ANCCE and in UK with BAPSH. DNA typed for colour and parentage. He will be vaccinated and wormed at the appropriate age. He can be weaned at six months and go to a new home otherwise he will stay with Habana and will wean naturally when she has her next foal in the summer of 2025.
