Palomino Stallion 16hh Graded APTO 2021
Dob 25.7.2018 Genotype eeAACrC We are so proud to have bred this outstanding palomino stallion, Gazaro Anopheles (aka Quito), born at the end of July 2018. Quito has been shown twice as a 2yo and was the Reserve Youngstock Champion at the spring Iberian Performance Show. He upped his game at the summer Iberian Performance and was the Youngstock Champion. In 2021 he was graded APTO (suitable for breeding) by the Spanish Commission with some very favourable comments. He was backed in January 2024 as a 5yo and is now being schooled under saddle by Geoff. Obviously, he had just a short time under saddle but things are looking good. He is calm, listens and tries hard to please. His dam Rociera CLXXXI is a stunning, classy, chestnut mare and this was her first foal. Shown only twice, she was in the ribbons on both occasions; she passed her grading (APTO) in 2016 with flying colours. She has it all, tall, 16hh plus, substantial bone, good temperament, good conformation, and outstanding movement. His sire, Mas Yaco (aka Yogurt), is our well-known cremello stallion, again over 16hh. His action is long and straight so desirable and suitable for dressage. He passed the grading (APTO) in 2017 together with some very favourable comments from the Spanish Commission. His temperament is fabulous, so full of fun, and kind. We had every intention of keeping Quito but realistically we are getting too old to do him justice. He would do well in the showring, be a very capable dressage horse and be stunning in a Concours D'Elegance class. Price: £25,000 click on the pictures below to enlarge them |
