We are offering for sale Alto Generoso (aka George), a rising-eleven year-old grey gelding, standing 15.3hh.
British bred and bought as a recently backed but unschooled seven year old,this PRE one of the best horses that Geoff has owned and produced. He is light in the hand, responsive and has self-carriage.
George has correct conformation and is straight moving. He has three good basic paces. He is able to shoulder-in and travers in walk and trot and can canter shoulder-fore and quarters-in both in a straight line and on a circle. He has an established half-pass in all three paces and can canter-pirouette on both reins. All movements are technically correct . He is currently working on flying-changes, passage, piaffe and Spanish Walk.
Geoff uses George for lessons to give people the experience and joy of riding a well-schooled horse. He hacks out alone and in company, is good with the farrier, loads easily and has no stable vices. He has never been unwell, vaccinations are up to date and he is open to any vetting.
George is intelligent and is always eager to please. He has a sensitive character but once a bond is made between him and his owner, he will do anything for you. The home and personality of the prospective owner are paramount in this sale.
