Boni Canela

Sometimes in life you are lucky, and so it was with Boni. We bought her off a photograph and video without actually going to Spain to see her.
She arrived in December 2015 as a rising 5yo, already Graded APTO. She was bought to increase our number of chestnut mares but when we researched her history, we realised she had been shown in Spain, won her section and had qualified for the ANNCE Championship. Not a mare to be missed.
She is chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail, stands over 16hh and moves like a dream, having both height, cadence and length in her stride. She produced an outstanding palomino filly to Mas Yaco in 2019.
In the August of that year we took Boni and her three-week-old foal, Gazaro Cercaria, to the prestigious Iberian Performance Show where she won the in-hand adult mare class and was Supreme In-hand PRE Champion, over both the Champion Stallion and Champion Youngster.
Again, she was Champion Mare at the 2021 Iberian Performance Show.
Boni has correct conformation and fabulous movement, she is very true to type. Her temperament is kind, quiet, a little reserved but always wants to please. She is a true asset for our stud.
