Maryss Aurora

We were so lucky to be able to add Maryss Aurora to our stud as a four year old chestnut mare in 2020.
Standing over 16hh she was bred by Mary McBryde who was one of the original people to bring the PRE breed into this country back in the 1970s. We had had our eye on this mare for quite a while before acquiring her. Fortunately for us, her chestnut colour did not fit with Mary’s breeding programme so we were able to add her to our group of chestnut mares.
She comes with an impeccable pedigree. Her dam’s side includes winners. - the Canadian Champion, the USA Texas Champion, British Champion Mare and the British National Champion twice.
She’s a very correct mare for the PRE breed. As well as being a lovely mare to handle she’s amenable, friendly and kind, and her first foal, which she produced in 2022 to Mas Yaco, is quite outstanding.
The main photograph was taken at her grading in September 2021, whilst the smaller ones were taken at home.
