Rociera CLXXXI

Rociera (aka Roxy) is a very substantial, tall chestnut mare with a flaxen mane and tail, standing over 16hh. We added her to our stud in January 2016 and she was Graded (APTO) in May of that year.
We have shown her just twice and she was in the ribbons on both occasions, one being the National Show in 2016. She has exceptional movement, her trot shows natural cadence but when excited this become a most elevated slow passage: it really is something to watch!
She is the lead mare of our small herd of brood mares; wherever she goes, they follow. She is very tolerant towards all the foals even allowing them to feed out of the same feed bowl as herself. With people she is quiet, kind and very amenable – a lovely mare to own.
Since her Grading, she has been put in foal to Mas Yaco and has had two stunning Palomino foals. G. Anopheles is now a Graded APTO stallion and is being retained by the stud as a ridden horse and future stallion. She is now back in foal to Mas Yaco for a palomino foal in 2023
