Gazaro Yersinia
Buckskin Filly by Mas Yaco x Borrascosa IV
DoB May 2017
To make 15.3-16hh
Yersinia is out of our black mare, Borrascosa, by our cremello stallion, Mas Yaco.
Yersinia has lived out with our small herd 24/7 since she was born . She is a confident, very friendly, well-adjusted and inquisitive filly. She was weaned naturally as her dam now has another foal at foot.
Borrascosa, her dam has impeccable breeding lines with many prestigious and respected studs appearing in her pedigree. She has produced some stunning foals for us, and we are keeping an older one as a future stallion.
Her sire, Mas Yaco, is our cremello PRE stallion and Yersinia was his first offspring. He stands over 16hh and was graded (APTO) in 2017. There are only six stallions in this colour worldwide (2018) that have passed their grading and he is the only one outside Spain. Mas Yaco has a long, straight action which is most suitable and desirable for dressage and his temperament is fabulous, kind and full of fun.
Yersinia has expressive, uphill, straight, movement, with an excellent neck set, well developed shoulders and a beautiful, refined elegant head. She is likely to make 15.3hh-16hh at maturity. She is a glorious pale buckskin colour, which is a rare colour in the PRE and, having a red and cream gene, she is also likely to stay pale.
We were very tempted to keep this filly as she is quite outstanding, however, you can’t keep them all. We could see her both in the show world as well as in the dressage arena. The video below was taken at the end of July 2018 and it is testament to her character and confidence in people that this was only the first time she had ever been away from her dam or the herd.
